In 2012 a German-Brazilian agreement initiated the creation of a „mirror“ collection of Berlin’s Vilém Flusser Archive for an archive in São Paulo and made it possible to entirely copy Flusser's manuscripts and correspondences.
The Vilém Flusser Archive São Paulo, organized by Prof. Dr. Norval Baitello Junior, is particularly committed to making Flusser's work accessible to the Brazilian and Latin American public. The archive is interested in making all texts and video interviews with Flusser available online, finding other unpublished materials, as well as promoting events, publications, research, and other scientific collaboration, such as recently building a network of South American dialogues and research on Flusser.
The Vilém Flusser Archive São Paulo constitutes itself as a space for reflection and interlocution on Flusser‘s work and is open to the visit of of interested researchers.
