The Vilém Flusser Archive holds and looks after Flusser’s literary remains with approximately 2500 manuscripts of essays and books, all of his publications, as well as documents of his extensive correspondence, supplemented by Flusser’s travel library, numerous image and audio documents, digital artifacts, as well as a growing collection of secondary literature and theses and dissertations on Flusser.
The archive, 1998 entrusted to Siegfried Zielinski‘s care, since 2016 under the direction of Prof. Dr. Maren Hartmann, identifies itself as an intersection in international research on Vilém Flusser, and endeavours to enhance accessibility of the work of this influential thinker. In addition to its own projects, such as event and publication series as well as editions, the Vilém Flusser Archive seeks to promote and support international publications, scholarly and artistic work and events.Vilém Flusser Archive, Universität der Künste Berlin
